ISSUE 6 APRIL 2002
Hi
I hope you have survived the Easter Break and all its temptations and are now well and truly back into your dieting routine. The start of April brings my mind around to holidays and I have been looking through the clothing catalogues at all of the lovely summer dresses and dare I say it swimming costumes! Much preparation is needed before one of those go anywhere near my body, if you are in the same boat, I hope that the following tips might help.
Good Luck

THE RECIPE FOR TURNING YOUR BATHROOM INTO A HOME SPA
Lock the bathroom door for an hour and a half and wallow in some luxurious beauty treatments to make you look and feel better.
'Ingredients'
Scented candles or an aromatherapy burner and essential oils Intensive hair conditioner Facial Oil Face Mask Bath Oil Body Brush Body Scrub Sponge Soap Cotton Wood Pads Rosewater Body Lotion Facial Moisturiser Towels
'Method'
1. Place four or five scented candles around the bathroom or use an aromatherapy burner with soothing oils such as rose, sandlewood or lavender. 2. Shampoo your hair and then whilst your bath is running, apply an intensive hair conditioner. Massage it into your hair, put on a shower cap and then wrap your hair in a warm towel. 3. Thoroughly cleanse your face and neck with your cleanser twice to make sure that you are really clean. Then using a fine oil massage a few drops between your fingertips and smooth gently over your face working up and out towards your temples and across your forehead up to the hairline. Relieve any tension by using the ring finger on each hand to gently massage your temples. Next working from the bridge of your nose, circle up and out with your middle finger following your eye sockets all the way around. Don't drag on the skin. Repeat twice. 4. Remove all excess oil with a toning lotion. 5. Apply a face mask and leave on for the required time. Rinse. 6. Add some Bath Oil to your bath. Before you get in use a body brush to exfoliate your skin. Use long strokes working towards your heart. 7. Get into your bath and relax, cover your eyes with rosewater soaked cotton wool pads and lay their for 10 minutes. 8. Remove the cotton wool pads and use a pumice stone to remove any hard skin for your feet. Rinse the conditioner out of your hair and wrap yourself in a huge towel to dry. 9. Apply a generous amount of rich body lotion, massaging it in with smooth strokes. 10. Apply a night cream and eye gel to your face. 11. Dry your hair and get a great nights sleep.
