Weight Loss Advice Agoraphobia And Bulimia

It’s good that you have made the effort and have started going to the gym, I know that you will probably find it hard after suffering from agoraphobia and bulimia but try and stick with it. If the prospect of going to the gym ever gets daunting or if you want to try and stay away from snacking and going to the fridge here are a few little tips that will help you.

Firstly - you could always invent/set-up a gym at home to help, you don’t have to fork out a lot of money for expensive gym equipment; all you need is a little imagination. A chip up bar, an abdominal curler and a set of barbell or dumbbell weights will cover a vast amount of exercises to help you keep trim and toned, and will cost you under £50. For cardiovascular exercises you can walk up and down the stairs or do lunges around your house or garden - this will help you to burn calories at home.

Secondly - if you feel that a diet meal doesn’t hit the spot then experiment with different snack meals or larger meals available on the onlineslimming web pages or remember that if you want a feeling of fullness without eating too much then carbohydrates like pasta, bread and potatoes are good options. Lastly if the urge of binging and spending time with the fridge gets too much then if you fill your fridge full of reduced fat/low calorie snacks then when/if you do snack you will be snacking on healthier foods therefore the feeling of guilt will be less.

On that point; try and not feel too guilty if you do have the odd bad urge or meal put it down to a learning experience and try not to stress too much about it as even top athletes have urges and stray from meal plans sometimes- if you need any more help or advice feel free to write back and we will see if we can help.
